Slice Torque Wrench CAD

I could not easily find a 3D model of this torque wrench, so a quick mock-up was in order.

Started with taking note of the rough dimensions

Basic shapes to start the component

Arcs and Circles utilized to create the rough shape of the handle

Fillets and coloration to finish it off

Gridfinity Nozzle Wrench Holder CAD and Design

The base of the container is a 3x2x1 Gridfinity container. I don’t care for the magnet slots on the bottom, so I remove those before getting start with the slot for the wrench.

Smooth now with the material updated as well

The base of the part is extruded up to allow for enough room for the wrench to rest into it

The wrench is scaled up by 1% to allow for clearance. The wrench is used as a cutting tool to create a recess

A gap is created to make grabbing the wrench easier

Nozzle holes are added
