Generating Custom Pulleys in CAD - A Method for the Lazy
Find a pulley in Mcmaster that is similar size to the final desired size. (pulleys have different profiles depending on diameter, consult this chart to find a corresponding pulley profile)
Use the split body tool in Fusion 360 to cut the pulley body.
Create a sketch on the split face.
Create a vertical line where the new center of the pulley will be. Additional height can be trimmed at this point as well.
Finish the sketch and hide the bodies.
Utilize the revolve tool to create a new body with the previous sketch
To add a shaft hole, create a sketch on the face of the pulley and add a circle
Extrude the circle through the pulley
