Downloading Youtube Videos
yt-dlp is an opensource application on Github. It allows you to safely download outube videos.
Download and install yt-dlp
- Go to yt-dlp’s releases page
- Download and install the version that matches your OS
- Install
Using yt-dlp
- Add Youtube URL’s to the top
- Select where the video is to be stored
- Select the video format
- Click Add
- Videos will be added to the lower section
- Click on the cloud download icon in the lower right to start
- The size, progress, and estimated completion time will now start updating
