    The cross member needs to allow the v-belt to pass through it. I created a drawing referencing the side profile of the cross member’s bolt pattern, the weapon hub diameter, the motor pulley diameter and set each of these to their rough locations

    After a bit of time in the shop with the CNC machine. The belt can even be added after the fact by removing the 3 bottom plate bolts in the left weapon rail and the bolt connecting the weapon rail to the cross member.

    The 4 slots are utilized for the weapon mount, they allow it to weapon belt to be tensioned
